Live FULLY and LAUGH

Lighten up, turn up the music and enjoy Ken's
hilarious youtube below. Ken Davis is an honest riot. At age 55 he lamented that he did not have a six pack, but that his belly at this age looks more like Venetian blinds! Emphatically, Ken insisted that at age 55 people are no longer COOL or HOT! With humor Ken promotes being ALIVE in Christ at any age. Why not represent Jesus with JOY now because obtaining PERFECTION is NOT required. Kids in Africa live without toys, a roof, or food, and they are happy because they don't have TV demonstrating that life is best lived looking like this, or having that. It is a lie that we need anything more than Jesus.  Ken remembers and laughs that back in the day, fiery pastors lied as they spread the conspiracy that music, dancing, and fun was a sin! Ken, a celebrated Christian author of over 9 best selling books shared boldly that he was severely depressed, and spiritually dead.  Ken admitted that he had all the money, fame, fortune he could muster...but he still felt
hopeless and lifeless. His epiphany came when his 3 year old grand daughter Jayden prayed this prayer "God, don't let my grandpa be afraid anymore, let him see bunnies and rainbos...and don't let him forget Jesus." God used a three year old to wake Ken up. Lisa Harper, another fabulous Christian author said "God will use a donkey or a rock to speak on His behalf if you do not!" Christians do tend to take life too seriously, but we win souls by being winsome. Life is NOT a BUMMER!  Sheila Walsh, a famed and restored Christian woman after a suicide attempt told us that a mother sheep sometimes will snub a baby... and those unwanted babies are called "bummer" sheep. She then praises Jesus, our Shepherd for picking her up as a discarded bummer sheep, and holding her close to Him.  You see, a Shepherd brings the discarded sheep inside, warms them by a fire, bottle feeds them and holds them close to his chest so the bummer kid can hear a heartbeat. That is how Jesus loves those of us who feel unwanted, broken, or rejected. He picks us up and loves us back to LIFE then releases
us back into the world so we can tell of His great mercy. My son felt unwanted by his daughter and his heart was broken. But then, alas,  the Shepherd called Jason and he ran towards His Shepherd, because he recognized His voice. Our brokenness is intended to transform us. It is a gift to experience pain in this life.  Compare who you were before the tragic thing...and who you became as a result of your journey through those dark days?  Did you depend more on Jesus? Our dark days gives us a wide eyed, totally alert chance to trust God's warning that the enemy of our soul is out to execute our relationship with Him!  The terror of living in a jungle of fear, with a roaring lion seeking to destroy us, is where we recognize Who Jesus is, and the power of His spoken Word. He takes us from the pit and releases us from the cocoon, and we are given wings to fly. Were you a geek in high school?  Did the coach not pick you?  That's okay, Jesus chose YOU!  Jesus waits for you to choose Him.  Ask Jesus to come into your heart and make you whole. He will deposit the Holy Spirit in you, He will heal your wounds, He will give you a joy unspeakable! Psalm 118: We have been adopted by God, the Creator of all that is, the King of Kings and His authority has been given to us to cast out demons and live in victory!

Ken Davis - PERFECTION is NOT required!  LIVE FULLY - HAVE FUN!

Lisa Harper - Jesus hangs with the homeless, with the sick, with the lost, not the proud teachers. He risked being hated and hanged for us, because He came to lay down His life for us. He still battles for us, He loves us as we are. He longs for us to talk to Him, about anything. "Come...just come, to Me..I will give you abundant LIFE, now, and My eternal love" Stick your foot in the water, God will give you favor, He is trustworthy.  The great Love Story - Keep on Keeping on - "With one glance of your eye, you captured My heart" Jesus is the Bridegroom and He is in hot pursuit of us. Let us turn to Him and allow Him to sweep us off our feet and into His strong, protective, redeeming arms.

LISTEN and LOVE

Human growth occurs most favorably in meetings when individuals reveal their struggles transparently.  Authentic open, honest and sincere communication requires “nothing held back ---good or bad, we share the raw, undiluted truth of how we are feeling, of what we are going through. Honesty is a prerequisite to successful healing relationships. Love is what heals, love is what sustains, love is what cures, and love is what makes AUTHENTIC TALK therapy successful. Unfortunately, a common problem with most relationships is the false response of: “I am fine, everything is fine”. Love and compassion is something we “feel” for another being who is hurting.  Dr. Scott Peck defined love as the willingness to go out on a limb, to truly involve oneself and struggle at an emotional level with another in a relationship for the purpose of shared growth. To love God with all your heart and soul, to love God above all else ~ requires authenticity and honest communication with our invisible but very tangible Lord and Savior. Love is FELT when we FEEL SAFE enough to be ruggedly HONEST. LOVE LISTENS and COMMUNICATES ~ GOD IS LOVE. Love is more than acts, deeds, words, or feelings. To love is to verbally share the unseen contents of our heart. Our fears, our honest prejudices, our reservations, our hopes, our dreams, our disappointments are SAFE with GOD and hopefully with a friend. God does not judge us for how we feel. He knows the TRUTH contained in our hearts and loves us anyway. To love another human being is to trust that
whatever we share will be accepted without judgment. It is through our willingness and openness to communicate and listen to someone that we most readily demonstrate the truth or quality of our love and caring. It is impossible to have much love, compassion and understanding for another unless we are in touch with the transparent content of their heart. There is a difference between friend and acquaintances.  People you met once upon a time, but communication has only ever been polite greetings,  we are lightly acquainted with their life, world.  Friends know our current strengths, struggles and weaknesses.  If someone simply LIKES a post on Facebook, that person is a passing acquaintance.  All humans long to be known, understood and loved as they are, by family and at least one close friend with whom transparent raw sharing, and acceptance can always be expected.  My two close girlfriends in California validate my existence, they accept my quirky impulsivity, they remind me of my gifting,  and they encourage me on bad days. Most importantly, they listen without judgment and therefore, they are able to pray for me specifically.  Listening is the most IMPORTANT skill of life and it is the most beneficial psychological and spiritual process that moves us to evolve, change, grow and learn. My girlfriends give me FREE therapeutic listening, and I gladly return their grace with a willing attentive ear.  INTENTIONALLY, we make time for our necessary sharing of the hard spots, the victories, the joy and our struggles.  Being VULNERABLE is scary because it requires the
very essential component of trust. “ I trust you will love me even though I share this truth of whats going on inside right now” With empathetic listening~ true intimacy is created. We directly reach over barriers that separate one soul from another. We bridge the sense of separation that most people feel. Even the best Christian slips into worry, has fears, and secret doubts.  Talking it out with a close friend is to be obedient..."Confess your sins to one another so you can be healed."  When we give voice to what persistently whirls about in our minds, while God listens, and our dear friend tunes in, a certain sense of peace comes along with a renewed confidence that all is well. Because He first loved us unconditionally, we are equipped to love ourselves and others as we are loved.  Gently, with kind compassion we listen. When we risk heart-felt communication, we gain the peace of God, and we build trust with another. With eye contact as they are speaking, we show a kindness that is real, warm, and sincere. To close your eyes, to look away while a speaker, pastor, or friend is talking SHOWS a deep obvious disinterest in what they have to say. It is RUDE. Authentic, pure listening is what God does when we pray. Emmanuel, God with us...listens with great pleasure...He cares and comforts, through the silent sacred act of listening. Intimacy with God or another human being is a private thing between our soul and the listening audience.  There is NO CONDEMNATION with God, and among friends.  This kind of attitude transcends any kind of barrier. Engaging in heart to heart communication always contains at least some element of risk, but NEVER with God.
"Be still and know that I am God" and He is with us...as we listen for His small voice, His gentle nudge...we become willing to be transparent and we trust that this too shall pass, but not without the lesson, the wisdom.  The hurts of being unwanted or childhood rejections are healed when we receive unconditional love from others. When we share our own vulnerabilities, weaknesses, errors, experiences and concerns ~ magic happens and the barriers come down between our mate, our kid, our neighbor, and our hurting friends. They respond with a willingness to open up and go deep. Instead of listening deeply from the heart, the modern doctor sends a patient quickly to a medical laboratory for tests. Clinical, superficial greetings are for acquaintances, not friends or family.  Recently I moved to a new town, a new country, a new church. I left behind my son and two really close girlfriends. God answered my unspoken prayer and sent me local females to fa la la with, to play and pray with.  Time spent transparently sharing my current state of heart with another compassionate soul was uplifting.  God knows our every need and He knows that what adults, children, and all ethnic groups need more than anything is a
listening heart.  Solomon asked God for a listening heart and he is known as the wisest man that ever lived. People need to FEEL and SEE that we are listening by our eye contact. Attentive listening includes gestures like pats on the back. A verbal acknowledgement that simply says "I hear what you are saying and I am here for you"  No remedies, no advice necessary. Listen as God listens. Sweetly attentive, yet silent. Full of compassion, fully tuned in.  Hallelujah, thanks for listening. "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Let us NOT give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--- and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25

Grinding True Grit

“Prayer – The Grinding of the Grit.  He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." —Hebrews 13:5 - If I have not truly heard this assurance of God, then let me listen again. “I will never…forsake you.” Sometimes it is not the difficulty of life but the drudgery of it that makes me think God will forsake me. When there is no major difficulty to overcome, no vision from God, nothing wonderful or beautiful— just the everyday activities of life— do I hear God’s assurance even in these? We have the idea that God is going to do some exceptional thing— that He is preparing and equipping us for some extraordinary work in the future. But as we grow in His grace we find that God is glorifying Himself here and now, at this very moment. If we have God’s assurance behind us, the most amazing strength becomes ours, and we learn to sing, glorifying Him even in the ordinary days and ways of life. Father,  In
the extraordinarily difficult times in our lives, we are desperate to know that You will never leave us, that we will not face immense challenges without Your presence, help, and strength. And it is in just these trying times that many of us say that we were most aware that You were there with us.  Sometimes, though, we have more difficulty connecting with You in the drudgery of life, in the ordinary times, when there is no vision, nothing terrible, but nothing wonderful either. Our fear is not that You will leave us, but more that You will not join us. That You will be generally present should a crisis arise but that You are not fully invested in the ordinary moments in the same way. That You are on reserve to mediate the terrible but not on hand ready to create the beautiful.  Perhaps this comes from our understanding of You as our Savior, our rescuer, our strong arm – which You are. But You are more than that, more than an ever-present help in time of trouble. You are an
ever-present creator in seemingly ordinary times. And You have just as much passion for that. Your strong arm to save is also a strong arm to grow and create and delight. To be passionately present in the mealy mundane.  In the grinding of the grit of this world.  For those of us in ordinary times, help us to know not only Your presence but Your activity – Your desire to enter in and build with us, to celebrate with us, to exercise Your creativity in conjunction with ours and be the great mediator of meaning, purpose and vision when there is no great crisis and no great cause. Remind us that these ordinary times are where some of Your greatest gifts are hidden and Your greatest work in and through us is done. To You be the glory, Amen.” Julie Powell Caldwell --Leaping for JOY and flying towards You during ordinary and extra-ordinary times, I thank You for restoring my mind with Thy peace.  AMEN

Think, Expect, Pray, and Give Thanks

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do NOT have love,
I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.... Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corin 13:1-13
As a mother filled with hope, I prayed in the name of Jesus, that Satan be bound and that any of his agents be forbidden to remain, to enter, or to mess with my son. The Holy Spirit was let loose to enter Jason's world, his home and his mind and to restore the purpose that God had for my son's life. Our Lord Jesus hears our prayers. God knew the hour in which He would bring my son home.  When I last visited Jason, in August 2015, my son was living in a dark place with a crew of lost souls that were growing, harvesting and selling marijuana.  We went to see the movie "The War Room" all about Spiritual Warfare and our effective weapon of prayer.  I returned to Mexico, and my son returned to the Lord and was fully restored.  Jason got a great job at Big Valley Ford and on
Easter Sunday 2016 he brought his sister Shelly and a few friends to his church. On April 20, 2016 my son enjoyed a day of golf with his cousin David, a big barbecued steak and then dropped to his knees with a heart attack. No more pain, no more sorrows, Jason is free of this world and all of its troubles. Jesus is forever faithful, and always willing to work.  Matthew 8:8 - "Lord, my servant lies at home sick with the palsy. " The Centurion affirmed his faith in the ability of Jesus to speak and heal his servant without even seeing or touching the servant.  Jesus said to the Roman soldier..."I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith."  The Roman had not been baptized, yet he understood that Jesus had ABSOLUTE authority to command sickness to depart.  We must ABSOLUTELY believe and speak with the authority given unto us, that when we pray over someone, that they will be most importantly spiritually restored and healed in mind, and the body, according to God's will.  HUMILITY is thinking of yourself what God thinks about you.  I submit my will to God's will and I believe that when I speak heaven hears, agrees and moves.  Satan also hears and flees when we speak with the AUTHORITY God gives us.

Lord Jesus I ask that You increase my desire for more of You, that the Holy Spirit restore my mind fully to the mind and desires of Christ. I ask that You renew my spirit and bring holy scriptures to my tongue that I may glorify you in all my thoughts, actions and speech.  I ask that you increase my faith and trust in all Your spoken and written promises. Thank You Lord Jesus for healing my body and mind and for gifting me with the Holy Spirit that works through me to speak life and healing into and over others.  Thank you for the healing balm of Your written, living Word. I ask that all who hear the Word of God, who hear what the Spirit of God is saying through these holy scriptures, that they will be drawn closer to You Lord and be transformed by the renewing of their mind. Lord Jesus I ask that all who read this gain an increased thirst for the TRUTH.   God's healing is a gift, not a reward for being good. Jesus healed unbelievers in the street.  “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”  Proverbs 12:18 -
“Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” Proverbs 16:24 - “But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.” Malachi 4:2 - “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.” Matthew 9:35 - “Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.” Acts 9:40
"So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.”  Luke 9:1-6 MORE HEALING Holy Scriptures - “He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’” Luke 13:32 - “and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick.” John 6:2 - “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.” Acts 10:38 - Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and He distributes them to each one, just as He determines.  1 Corinthians 12:9 - “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?  Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?  Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way.”  1 Corin 12:27-
"Therefore, there is now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.  You, however, are controlled NOT by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you." Romans 8:1-9 --- God's sacred Word is the most valuable treasure in this world.  It is beyond comparison to any riches or positions that this world offers. God's ways are superior, so employ His way, touch people by the hand and pray in confidence that the Holy Spirit was given to us that we might be His conduit for Healing.  “But you are a chosen
people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9 - Father's Day 2016 - Jesus is Calling "I speak to you continually.  My nature is to communicate, though not always in words.  I fling glorious sunsets across the sky, day after day.  I speak in the faces and voices of loved ones.  I caress you with a gentle breeze that refreshes and delights you.  I speak softly in the depths of your spirit, where I have taken up residence."  -- "O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!  You have set your glory above the heavens....when I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?"  Psalm 8:1-4

The Rapture Verdict

The Rapture Verdict” written by Michael T. Snyder a former Washington D.C. attorney who is now a full-time researcher who is busy, writing, speaking and publishing The Economic Collapse Blog.  Michael and his wife Meranda believe that God is going to move greatly even in the midst of all the chaos and darkness that are coming. They are convinced that the greatest move of God and the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever seen will happen between right now and the triumphant return of Jesus Christ to this planet. Will Christians have to go through all of the chaos described in the book of Revelation? -Is the judgment of God coming to America? -Are we on the verge of entering the Great Tribulation? -What is "the parousia", and how does that ancient Greek word completely shake up conventional theories about the rapture? -Does the rapture come before, after or somewhere in the middle of the Tribulation? -Why are millions of Christians in the western world going to become extremely angry with their pastors? -Do the Biblical festivals provide us with a prophetic template for the events surrounding the second coming of Jesus Christ? -Will this be the generation that witnesses the rise of the Antichrist and the Mark of the Beast? -Is the organized church in danger of missing out on the greatest move of God the world has ever seen?  RECENT REVIEWS on
AMAZON: 1.  “Paul's description of the "Resurrection/Rapture" in I Thessalonians 4:16-17, i.e. "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." So, where is this with regard to Revelation 4 (Pre-Trib) or Revelation 6 and 7 (Pre-Wrath)? clarifying this highly divisive subject among the brethren using the Bible focusing especially on the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as well as those of the Apostles Paul, Peter, and John. If you were unsure of which position is Biblical, I can assure you that after reading “The Rapture Verdict” the Biblical position as stated over and over again by our Lord and Savior is emphasized. Remember, the days of Noah? The people were warned generation after generation, until finally God Himself shut the door of the Ark with only Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives on board. Then, sudden destruction came. So, it will be in the very near future.”  Justin Prock, a professor in South Korea, Ph.D. in Advanced Prophetics. Master Thesis on The Ekklesia and The Antichristos.  2.  “Rapture pre-wrath was my long held theory. After reading “The Rapture Verdict”  I am reexamining my long held view based on his well researched biblical material. I believe we all must be open to rethinking our stances on certain "pet" issues, otherwise we are no different than the Pharisees. So, get this book, read it, underline it, research it for yourself, then...as the Lord leads, do something about it!.Time is short, my friends, and the American church is asleep at the wheel..Wake up, for the love of Christ Jesus, and let His words to you be "well done, overcomer, enter into your reward with Me"  Peter De Paoli  3.   “Michael Snyder’s book “The Rapture Verdict” is biblically accurate. The author has a history of doing his own research and then telling the truth about what he discovers. He isn’t concerned about what is politically correct, but wants to reveal what is true. This book is no exception. His objective was to research the Word of God and to find out what it says about the rapture. He has included volumes of Bible quotes to show what it clearly says about it. If you are a Bible believer, you will greatly benefit from his research and conclusions.  Edward Kurath  --- A word from the author: Don’t fear the days ahead.  Yes, they are going to be incredibly challenging, but none of this is catching God by surprise.  God knew about all of this in advance, He has a plan, and He is in control. And someday they will tell stories about the courageous men and women of the Remnant that set their faces like flint and stood tall in the midst of the worst times in all of human history.  Clothed in the armor of God, we will fight against the enemy to the very end, we will rescue millions of precious souls from the gates of hell itself, and we will experience the greatest move of the Spirit that the world has ever known.  Then when it is all said and done, our King shall come on the clouds, a great trumpet shall sound, and we will be with Him forever.
